Code keeps a world standing; people keep it alive. For Ancient Online: Remastered, we are looking for volunteer teammates whose work will touch the community, the players and the quality of the game. This post explains which roles are open, what you would do in each one, who we are looking for and how to apply, so that you can pick the role that suits you before you apply.
What to know before you apply
- The roles are voluntary: There is no pay and no contract; you help out because you enjoy it.
- Fully remote, with flexible hours.
- Age 18: You must be at least 18 when you apply. Because the work involves player data, we may verify your age.
- Language: Native-level command of the language of the team you apply for, plus basic English for writing with the studio (not required for the Turkish team).
- Tools: An active Discord account and a stable internet connection.
- A player at heart: You should genuinely love Ancient Online or classic MMORPGs.
Community and support roles are filled separately for each language we are hiring in. Countries that share a language form a single team, and each language team has its own number of seats. Gameplay testers are one shared team across all languages. The time a role requires and the current seat availability are stated in the listings on the careers page.

Team-only perks
The roles are unpaid; team members earn in-game perks: balance for the in-game shop, and exclusive items and rewards reserved for the team alone. There is no pay-to-win in the shop; this balance does not turn into combat power. Amounts and details will be announced when the in-game shop opens to players.
How to apply
- Open the careers page.
- Choose your role and your language; you will see the listings that are open for that language team.
- Read the details of the listing and use the apply button to prepare your email.
- In the email, briefly tell us about yourself, your relevant experience, the time you can set aside and your Discord username.
Frequently asked questions
Are the team roles paid?
No. The roles are volunteer positions with no salary and no contract; team members earn the in-game perks described above.
I have no experience. Can I apply?
Each listing sets out separately what we look for and what counts as a plus. If you meet what we look for, a previous official role is not required; briefly explaining in your application why you are a good fit is enough.
Where can I find out more about the studio?
In our post Who is Astronaut Entertainment? and on the FAQ page.
The next step
If you have seen a role that suits you, choose your language on the careers page and apply. If you are not sure, get to know the studio first; if you have a question, write to us through the contact page.
